CULINARY AND HOSPITALITY EDUCATORS FORUM
SACHEF is a non-profit collaborative forum focused on education, dedicated to the promotion of hospitality excellence, service, tourism, gastronomic heritage and skills development, representing and connecting our members in the Culinary, Food and Beverage (F&B) and Hospitality industry.
SACHEF Exists as an organisation to act
• as a collaborative forum between members in order to share information, knowledge and expertise;
• as a representative body to promote a sense of belonging, camaraderie, support and unity; and
• as an industry voice to advocate for the interests of our members, to support and engage with government regulators on policy, standards and quality assurance, and to serve civil society at large.
as an industry voice to advocate for the interests of our members, to support and engage with government regulators on policy, standards and quality assurance, and to serve civil society at large.
Transformation is an explicit goal within SACHEF in order to create representative inclusion, gender equality, social upliftment and economic growth for all our members in the culinary and hospitality industry.
SACHEF promotes equal access to participation and opposes any exclusions based on geographic location by encouraging decentralised representation of the national footprint, and by supporting and undertaking activities across the whole of South Africa and not only in the major urban areas.

Congrats to the newly elected board of the South African Culinary and Hospitality Educators Forum.
The Educators Forum recognises that the goal of Culinary, F&B and Hospitality Education is the growth and development of all learners – both students and apprentices through training at school and also in the workplace.
This further extends to ongoing Skills Development, Upliftment and Capacity Building, Life-Long-Learning and Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
